Award Methodology

ch-aviation maintains one of the industry’s most extensive and detailed commercial and business aviation databases, enabling the assessment of the youngest aircraft fleets. This vast intelligence covers over 110,000 aircraft, more than 13,500 active airlines, 2,900 aircraft owners, and more. To determine the award winners, ch-aviation considered only active commercial operators—both passenger and cargo—with at least five aircraft, so as the active business jet operators. A consolidated AOC list was used for airline groups with multiple Air Operator Certificates (AOCs).
